How much does SumUp charge?

SumUp keeps pricing simple and transparent. You either have the choice to pay as you go or sign up for our cost-saving Payments Plus plan.

With the pay-as-you-go plan, there’s no monthly cost – you just pay 1.69% per transaction for card reader payments. This is perfect if your sales vary through the year and you want full flexibility with no monthly cost.

If you’re making more than £3,300 per month in payments, you can save on transaction fees by signing up for the Payments Plus plan. It costs £19 per month and reduces your transaction fee to 0.99% for domestic consumer cards. Online payments have a 2.50% fee, and in-person payments with non-EU or corporate cards (including AMEX) have a 1.69% fee. These rates apply to both the pay-as-you go option and the Payments Plus plan.
